Sophia Austral is a journal of the Faculty of Education and Social Sciences of the University of Magallanes (ISSN 0719-5605), whose mission is to publish original and unpublished works written in spanish, resulting from scientific research in the form of articles on topics of Education, Literature, Social Work and Heritage Studies, with particular interest in geographical areas that share problems and concerns of border areas. Two issues are published regularly each year (June and December). The magazine is open access and free of charge.
